Labor is also teamwork. It is a mother and baby learning together how to push and how to be born, how to yield and separate from the union of pregnancy. You are not in control nor are you out of control during labor. The best way to approach labor is with an attitude of learning rather than controlling.

I have been working a solo practice since 2010 and recently moved from Grande Prairie.

Erin and I have been training doulas together for a number of years so it only seemed natural to partner up in all things when I moved to Calgary.

We are both very passionate about birth, families and community. We understand that how people give birth MATTERS to memory, family planning, mental health, the postpartum period and the birther's wellbeing.
